Like every tournament season before it, 2015 provided no shortage of excitement. Paring down the exciting moments into a list of the top 10 season highlights wasn't easy, but we managed. Let's review the highlights that made the cut.

When we asked them to spill the beans on the Whopper Plopper, 2015 FLW Series Western Division Angler of the Year Joe Uribe Jr. and FLW Bass Fishing League Lake of the Ozarks Regional champion Shonn Goodwin were willing to share what they know about the bait.
In 2013, the Zapf brothers became fishing partners when Andrew enrolled at Ramapo. The result was a win at Smith Mountain Lake in their first tournament. They would finish 10th in the Northern Conference Invitational that year and added a pair of top 10s in 2014 to get back to the National Championship.

After taking a break from Walmart FLW Tour competition for five seasons, North Carolina pro Tracy Adams returned with a strong 2015 performance that now has him chomping at the bit and eager to tackle a new season.
For a lot of people, winter is the time of year when they begin to slow down on their hunting efforts. The boat and tackle have been left in the garage for several months and seemingly are starting to beg for a little bit of attention. Weekly airings of FLW events on NBC Sports do nothing but increase the urge to get back on the water.

Whether they've been naughty or nice, every pro fisherman has a wish list for Christmas. We surveyed a few to determine what they hoped to find under the tree - at least figuratively speaking.
There's been a considerable amount of innovation since umbrella rigs first broke out at the Walmart FLW Tour event on Lake Guntersville in 2011. Though the principle of imitating a school of baitfish remains the same, the anglers who have put in the time to learn and refine the new rig have certainly reaped the rewards.

FLW announced today the complete professional angler roster of 171 for the upcoming 2016 Walmart FLW Tour season. The 2016 FLW Tour will feature six regular-season tournaments, along with two fall Invitational tournaments. Competition kicks off Feb. 4-7 at Lake Okeechobee in Clewiston, Fla.
There are braids that sink, braids that stretch, metered braids and hollow braids. Fluorocarbon no longer only comes in clear and zero-stretch. Now you can find it in all the colors of the rainbow, with different degrees of stiffness and stretch. There are even fluoro-braids, whatever that means.

Sometimes the simplest techniques are the best techniques. Take, for instance, the three techniques outlined here. They require minimal tackle, are easy to rig and on many days get more bites than more complex rigs and presentations that require a bit more skill.
