Weighing in midway through the 48-boat field, Bill Dance, Cody Detweiler, and Dave East repped Mystik Lubricants brought a five-bass limit for 17 pounds, 1 ounce to the scale for the win. The team focused on two shallow, grassy areas within sight of Big Toho Marina for the entirety of the event and caught about 10 bass and culled twice before 8 a.m.

This week the fishing industry's top manufacturers, anglers, media members and retailers are gathering together for the annual ICAST trade show where the most exciting new products for anglers will be revealed to the public.
In his fifth season on the Walmart FLW Tour, John Cox nearly won the 2015 Angler of the Year award while fishing from a 19-foot aluminum bass boat with no depth finder transducer. He fished only shallow - more or less - made four top 20s and came up 14 points shy of Scott Martin's winning AOY point total.
Heath Wagner of Angola, Indiana, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 21 pounds, 11 ounces Saturday to win the second Walmart Bass Fishing League Michigan Division tournament on the Detroit River presented by Navionics. For his victory, Wagner earned $3,592.
Ryan Doty of East Dubuque, Illinois, weighed three bass totaling 9 pounds, 7 ounces Saturday to win the fourth Walmart Bass Fishing League Great Lakes Division tournament on the Wolf River Chain. For his victory, Doty earned $4,507.

The 2015 Walmart Bass Fishing League season will continue with two tournaments on Saturday, July 11. The Great Lakes division takes on the Wolf River Chain and the Michigan division stops at the Detroit River for an event presented by Navionics. Up to 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing for top awards of up to $8,000 and $3,000 respectively in the one-day events.
