Lake Havasu City, Ariz. - Believe it or not, Daniel Leue of Colusa, Calif., was the only co-angler to bring in a five-bass limit every day of competition this week in the first Western Division event on Lake Havasu presented by Mercury. Though, that doesn't mean the second victory of his career came easy. The average quality of fish in Havasu kept Leue on his toes but thanks to his 16-pound, 2-ounce limit (the largest of the tournament) on the final day he walked away victorious.
Lake Havasu City, Ariz. - Emotions were high for Joe Uribe Jr. as he took the stage for the final weigh-in on Lake Havasu in the Rayovac FLW Series Western Division event presented by Mercury. With a 5-pound, 4-ounce lead coming into today, Uribe felt like this was his tournament to win, and he didn't disappoint. In fact, the Suprise, Ariz., pro locked up his first Rayovac FLW Series title with an exclamation point - a 26-pound, 7-ounce limit that caused the crowd to jump to its feet with applause when Tournament Director Ron Lappin called the final weight. Uribe won in a landslide by almost 15 pounds with a three-day total of 67-3. He walked away with a $40,000 paycheck.
SENECA, S.C. - Jayme Rampey of Liberty, South Carolina, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 17 pounds even Saturday to win the first Walmart Bass Fishing League Savannah River Division tournament of 2015 on Lake Keowee. For his victory, Rampey earned $8,154.

Lake Havasu City, Ariz. - The goal for anglers this week has been to track down big prespawn largemouth, the kind of fish that can separate a pro from the rest of the field. Joe Uribe Jr. has dedicated himself to that task, and it paid off with a tournament-best limit on day two that weighed 21 pounds. Uribe stuck to his guns, chasing big largemouth early in the day, and had the bulk of his weight by 10 o'clock. The Surprise, Ariz., pro has a two-day total of 40 pounds, 12 ounces for an impressive 5-4 lead over Josh Bertrand, who slipped from the lead into second place.
