The season is well and truly under way now. More than half of the Rayovac FLW Series divisions and FLW College Fishing conferences have now seen action, and the launch of the 2015 Walmart FLW Tour is just a couple weeks out. Here's a recap of last weekend's tournament action.

Lew's announces the launch of its new Speed Fishing Awards Incentive Program for anglers competing in any 2015 Walmart Bass Fishing League (BFL) divisional tournament. The membership-based brand-loyalty program is designed to benefit participating anglers who either win or who finish highest among Speed Fishing Awards members in the top 20 of any of the 120 BFL divisional events held across the country. To be eligible for the program's cash and product prizes, anglers must own and have registered both a Lew's rod and reel manufactured since 2010, be a current member of the Lew's incentive program, and comply with participation rules that include displaying a Lew's logo on tournament wear and boat. The cost to join is $29.95 per calendar year, with 2015 being the first year for the program. Membership includes a Lew's cap and decals.
The Walmart Bass Fishing League continues its 2015 tournament season the weekend of Saturday, Feb. 21 with a Gator Division tournament on Lake Okeechobee in Okeechobee, Florida. Up to 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing for a top award of up to $8,000 and $3,000 respectively in the one-day event.
FLW has announced a sponsorship agreement with UnderCover, Inc., manufacturer of the popular UnderCover truck bed covers. The 2015 season marks the first time the two organizations have reached a deal.
DENISON, Texas - FLW College Fishing is headed to Lake Texoma Feb. 21 for the second of three regular-season stops in the Southern Conference. A full field of college teams will be competing for a top award of $2,000 and a berth in the Southern Conference Championship tournament.

A common theme was evident in the top patterns from Lake Amistad last week at the opener of the Rayovac FLW Series Texas Division. Almost every angler in the top 10 was catching fish that were transitioning from wintertime haunts to prespawn staging areas. A few even caught fish that were "moving up" to where they'll eventually spawn. To read about the top five patterns, including Ray Hanselman's winning techniques, click here. BAINBRIDGE, Ga. - The University of Alabama team of Charles Hurst of Arley, Alabama, and Ethan Flack of Cullman, Alabama, won the FLW College Fishing Southeastern Conference event on Lake Seminole Saturday with five bass weighing 25 pounds, 3 ounces. The victory earned the club $2,000 and advanced the team to the FLW College Fishing Southeastern Conference Championship tournament.
