Pro Aaron Britt, of Yuba City, Calif., sacked a five-bass limit weighing 22 pounds, 5 ounces for a three-day total of 70 pounds to win top honors and $32,448 at the Rayovac FLW Series Western Division Clear Lake event presented by Evinrude.
MORRISTOWN, Tenn. - Tim Smiley of White Pine, Tennessee, weighed a three-day total of 15 bass totaling 34 pounds, 7 ounces, to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Regional Championship on Lake Cherokee Saturday. For his victory, Smiley took home a Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and a Chevy 1500 Silverado as well as entry into the 2015 BFL All-American presented by Chevy. This regional tournament featured the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers from each of the LBL, Mountain, North Carolina and Savannah River divisions.
FLORENCE, Ala. - Joshua Moore of Grand Cane, Louisiana, weighed a three-day total of 14 bass totaling 42 pounds, 14 ounces, to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Regional Championship on Pickwick Lake Saturday. For his victory, Moore took home a Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and a Chevy 1500 Silverado as well as entry into the 2015 BFL All-American presented by Chevy. This regional tournament featured the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers from each of the Cowboy, Hoosier, Music City and Volunteer divisions.
The Potomac River was the site of the 2014 FLW College Fishing Northern Conference Invitational Oct. 11-12, and like always on the Potomac, the tides and grass were the dominant factors. As evidenced in the top three patterns, the most successful teams understood how to adjust their strategies based on tidal movements and the effect the tide has on bass positioning within the abundant grass beds of the big river.

On the wings of a 23-pound, 14-ounce limit, pro Kyle Grover, of Trabuco Canyon, Calif., vaulted from sixth place on day one into the lead on day two of the Rayovac FLW Series Western Division Clear Lake event.
Low tide on the James River during the BFL Regional Oct. 2-4 proved highly productive for Chris Daves, as the angler from Spring Grove, Va., topped a field of 40 boaters from the Northeast, Piedmont, Shenandoah and South Carolina divisions.

Aaron Britt of Yuba City, Calif., sacked a 5-bass limit weighing an impressive 29 pounds to top the leaderboard among the 106 pros competing on day one of the Rayovac FLW Series Western Division Clear Lake tournament.
Challenging conditions including low water, abundant baitfish and a late-season algae bloom set the stage for an epic bass battle among the 212 pros and co-anglers vying for top honors Oct. 9-11 in the Rayovac FLW Series Western Division Clear Lake tournament, which kicked off this morning at 7:30 a.m. PT. Presented by Evinrude, the three-day event promises plenty of drama. Anglers are competing for lucrative paybacks, including $32,448 in cash for first place on the pro side, plus a fully rigged Ranger Z518C with 200-hp Evinrude outboard if the winner is Ranger Cup compliant, for a total purse worth more than $80,000. On the co-angler side, the victor claims a fully rigged Ranger Z117 with 90-hp Evinrude, plus $5,000 in Ranger Cup cash if entered in that contingency program.
