<b>Lake Murray Report</b> <br> The mid-week high for the first full week in May in Lake Murray Country will flirt with 90 degrees, and the 10-day forecast shows no highs of less than 80. Seemingly, the cold has finally fled, allowing the lake to get back on track from the dirty, cold water that has filled the lake thus far. Lake Murray's current surface temperature is 72.3 degrees, up 5 degrees from a week ago, based on the USGS water data website.

FLW College Fishing gears up for Cal Delta

BETHEL ISLAND, Calif. - FLW College Fishing is headed to the California Delta May 17 for the second Western Conference tournament of the season. Up to 50 college teams will be competing for a top award of $2,000 and a berth in the 2014 Western Conference Invitational tournament.

Walmart BFL tournament preview

The 2014 Walmart BFL season continues with four tournaments on Saturday, May 10. The Bulldog Division will meet at Lake Sinclair, the Hoosier Division will hit Lake Monroe, the Northeast Division will start their season on the Potomac River and the Volunteer Division will take on South Holston Reservoir. Up to 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing in each event for top awards up to $8,000 and $3,000 respectively.

Ohio State High School Fishing Championship set

The Bass Federation (TBF) and FLW, the world's largest tournament-fishing organization, have partnered to present the 2014 Ohio State High School Fishing Championship. The tournament will take place on Alum Creek Reservoir in Delaware, Ohio, and is open to any High School Fishing team in the entire state of Ohio. The 2014 schedule represents a major expansion of High School Fishing by FLW and The Bass Federation due to an increased demand.

James River event dates changed to Aug. 21-23

The Rayovac FLW Series at the James River presented by Mercury, originally slated for May 1-3, then moved to September, has again been rescheduled to Aug. 21-23. All details and locations will remain the same as the originally scheduled tournament.

North Forsyth takes Georgia title

GAINESVILLE, Ga. - The North Forsyth High School team of Cole Cloud and Ronnie Warsop brought a five-bass limit to the scale Saturday weighing 17 pounds, 13 ounces to win the 2014 Georgia State High School Fishing Championship on Lake Lanier. The win earned the team the title of state champions and advanced the team to a future High School Fishing conference championship.
