BIRDSEYE, Ind. - Larry Sisk of Evansville, Ind., weighed in four bass totaling 15 pounds, 4 ounces on Saturday to win the first Walmart Bass Fishing League Hoosier Division tournament of 2014 on Lake Patoka. For his victory, Sisk earned $6,082.

MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Darrin Stratton of Russellville, Ark., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 21 pounds, 5 ounces Saturday to win the second Walmart Bass Fishing League Okie Division tournament of 2014 on the Arkansas River. For his victory, Stratton earned $4,948.

OSAGE BEACH, Mo. - Cory Steckler of Rocky Mount, Mo., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 21 pounds, 4 ounces Saturday to win the second Walmart Bass Fishing League Ozark Division tournament of 2014 on Lake of the Ozarks. For his victory, Steckler earned $3,889.

ALEXANDER CITY, Ala. - Jeff Cannon of Douglasville, Ga., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 19 pounds, 1 ounce on Saturday to win the second Walmart Bass Fishing League Bama Division tournament of 2014 on Lake Martin. For his victory, Cannon earned $3,718.

9-pounder propels Rose to day-two lead

Weathermen lie, but Mother Nature never does. Her power was on display on day two of the Walmart FLW Tour event on Sam Rayburn Reservoir presented by Chevy. Forecasts called for a gloomy, potentially stormy day. But other than a light mist at takeoff and a dense fog that hung around until mid-morning, the weatherman couldn't have been more wrong. By lunchtime, sunshine and slick conditions spread across Sam Rayburn. The bass responded quickly by repositioning deeper into shallow cover and, in some areas, heading for the bank to answer nature's spawning call.
