ROGERS, Ark. - This week, the FLW Tour stop on Beaver Lake in northwest Arkansas proved that the fishery has come a long way over the past decade or so. Healthy stringers featured all three bass species present in Beaver throughout the event. Prespawn bass and the Alabama rig ultimately became the ticket for many anglers this week, including Rayovac pro Jason Christie who sealed the deal today to capture his second FLW Tour win.

ROGERS, Ark. - This year's Walamrt FLW Tour on Beaver Lake has proved to be a roller-coaster ride for many of the anglers. Many of the top leaders seem to have a good catch one day, but stumble the next. Jason Christie on the other hand has been drastically improving his weights all week and now holds a 2-pound, 8-ounce lead over Brandon Coulter with 47-7 overall.
Jason Harper and Chris Jones sit down with Larry Nixon, Casey Martin, Justin Lucas, Zach Caudle, and Andrew Upshaw to talk about Beaver Lake, College fishing, and fishing in general.
Mark Daniels Jr., of Fairfield, Calif., saw his life's work as well as his life's passion validated as he took home the title of 2013 Federation National Champion. Bolstered by a total catch of 62 pounds, 4 ounces, including 19 pounds, 4 ounces during Saturday's final day of competition, Daniels walked away with the tournament title as well as the coveted $100,000 "Living the Dream" package.
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - James Richardson Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio, weighed in three bass totaling 11 pounds, 10 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Hoosier Division event on Lake Monroe. For his victory, Richardson earned $4,199.
HENDERSON, N.C. - Chris Cox of Greenville, N.C., and David Farrington of Greensboro, N.C., both weighed a five-bass limit totaling 16 pounds, 2 ounces Saturday to tie for first at the Walmart Bass Fishing League Piedmont Division event on Kerr Lake. Cox and Farrington both earned $3,937.
MARBURY, Md. - Robert Oberly of Ephrata, Pa., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 18 pounds, 15 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Northeast Division event on the Potomac River. For his victory, Oberly earned $4,695.
SUMMERTON, S.C. - Mark Hutson of Moncks Corner, S.C., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 27 pounds, 8 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League South Carolina Division event on the Santee Cooper lakes. For his victory, Hutson earned $3,505.
Day 2 at Beaver Lake saw the A-rig continue to produce.
ROGERS, Ark. - It's never easy to get a win on the Walmart FLW Tour, let alone a win on your home lake in front of your family. For Steven Meador it was essentially a dream come true. Meador racked up 13 pounds, 8 ounces on day one, 10-9 on day two and finally 8-9 today. He won by a mere 10 ounces and took home the top prize of $25,000.
