The 2013 Walmart BFL season continues with the first tournament of the Cowboy division on Saturday, Feb. 2, on Sam Rayburn Reservoir. Up to 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing in each event for top awards up to $8,000 and $3,000 respectively.

Eastern Washington University wins FLW College Fishing event on Lake Oroville

OROVILLE, Calif. - The Eastern Washington University team of Jarred Walker of Moses Lake, Wash., and Nick Barr of Lacey, Wash., won the FLW College Fishing Western Conference event on Lake Oroville Saturday with five bass weighing 9 pounds, 8 ounces. The victory earned the club $2,000 and advanced the team to the FLW College Fishing Western Conference Invitational tournament.

In fact, by the time Thursday's weigh-in had concluded, weights were so bunched up that only 4 pounds separated eighth place from 93rd - a remarkable statistic to say the least.
