DAVENPORT, Iowa - The National Guard FLW Walleye Championship will visit the Mississippi River and the Quad Cities area Oct. 25-28 to crown walleye fishing's top angler of 2012. Hosted by the Quad Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau, the tournament will feature 42 of the world's top walleye pros and co-anglers fishing for the sport's biggest award - $100,000 cash in the Pro division and $15,000 cash in the Co-Angler division

LUFKIN, Texas - Christmas came early for Strike King pro Phil Marks. Yesterday, the tenured Texas angler said he needed cloudy weather to tap the full potential of his offshore spots and, after three days of mostly sunny conditions, he got the skies he needed to turn in a crushing performance that topped the Walmart FLW Tour Open on Sam Rayburn Reservoir.
In Texas they say "go big or go home" and Texan Phil Marks went big. Big to the tune of 82 pounds to win the FLW Open on Lake Sam Rayburn.

LUFKIN, Texas - When Clint Farris saw his productivity cut by more than half on day two, he worried that the numbers would catch up with him in the end. He was nearly right, but the Joshua, Texas co-angler found himself on the right side of a whisper-thin margin as he won the FLW Tour Open on Sam Rayburn Reservoir.
LUFKIN, Texas - In a week that has seen Sam Rayburn Reservoir off its game, Strike King pro Phil Marks has had to diversify his. Doing so, he's pushed himself to the top of the field heading into the final round of FLW Tour Open on this East Texas powerhouse.
It's Day 3 at Lake Sam Rayburn and the Texans take command.
HENDERSON, N.C. - Chris Marshall of Forest City, N.C., won the Walmart Bass Fishing League (BFL) Regional on Kerr Lake with a three-day total of 14 bass weighing 37 pounds, 8 ounces. For his victory, Marshall won a Ranger Z518 with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard plus a Chevy 1500 Silverado and entry into the BFL All-American presented by Chevy. This regional tournament featured the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers from each of the Mountain, Northeast, Shenandoah and South Carolina divisions.

For his victory, Sykora won a Ranger Z518 with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard plus a Chevy 1500 Silverado and entry into the BFL All-American presented by Chevy. This regional tournament featured the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers from each of the Buckeye, Great Lakes, Michigan and Ozark divisions.

LUFKIN, Texas - Keith Combs wasn't completely convinced that his shallow bite was off, but today it took him less time to decide than yesterday. The decision proved crucial, as he put together another solid limit that lifted him to the lead position at the FLW Tour Open on Sam Rayburn Reservoir.
